The works compromise the demolition of the existing dining hall block and services tower and the provision of a new single storey family centre together with external works. The client is aiming for a Very Good BREEAM rating on the new extension.
The school is occupied and located within densely populated residential area therefore calling for excellent liaison with both the school Head and the neighbouring properties. A robust traffic management plan with banksman guiding vehicles on and off site has helped build on the good relations our site management team have with all stakeholders.
