Project: Lloyd Park

Bolt & Heeks were engaged to construct a new, stand-alone “outdoor learning” facility within the grounds of the Lloyd Park Centre.  This is the first phase of a development programme, known as the “Nature and Risk-taking Playspace”; phase two will see the playspace extended into Lloyd Park itself and is dependent on grant aid from Natural England’s “Access to Nature” fund being made available.

An interesting feature of the project was the creation of a wetland garden which, as it matures, will hopefully stimulate and educate the Centre’s children.
