Project: Isis School Of English
Over two phases, Bolt & Heeks reconfigured and refurbished the Isis School of English, Greenwich, to provide modern, bright, vibrant facilities for both students and staff.
The works involved stripping out the first and second floors, reconfiguring and fitting out. Originally, the external walls comprised concrete panels and glazed units; we removed these and replaced them with curtain walling, brise soleil, cladding and new double-glazed aluminium windows. This operation required particular attention to the safety of other building users and the general public as the school is located in a busy shopping square just off Greenwich High Road.
