Bolt and Heeks employees took part in the Farleigh Hospice Race4Business on Thursday 21st June. This was to raise money for the Hospice Outreach Project (HOP) vehicle. The Hospice Information Services Team use the vehicle to tour around mid-Essex and provide information, support and advice in locations such as schools, libraries, supermarkets and community centres.
In 2016 the Hospice was forced to retire is existing HOP vehicle, due to mechanical defects. As a result it saw a sharp decline in the services available to the community – particularly to those in remote areas.
We decided to take part in this event to help bring back the HOP vehicle and allow Farleigh Hospice to get back into the community and provide the specialist support and advice services where it is needed the most.
Thanks to Michael, Ollie, Lynn and Chris for giving up their time on behalf of the company for such a good cause.
