Bolt and Heeks is a privately owned construction company with over 50 years experience. We provide a diverse range of creative and commercial services for both the private & public sectors of the construction industry.

Our company prides itself on the quality of its work, its outstanding service to clients and its excellent contract management

Working from our new headquarters in Ongar, and with our highly experienced senior staff, we are ideally located to service operations throughout London and the Home Counties.

The business is large enough to handle contracts in excess of £2 million, yet small enough to offer clients a personal service, making even the smallest project a simple and a pleasant experience.
Perhaps most importantly, we are financially stable with no borrowings – a key consideration in today’s economic climate.

We believe that if a job’s worth doing, then it’s worth doing well which is why every contract is director-led and we ensure each project team has the necessary expertise and experience to complete contracts to budget and programme without compromising quality.

We are a quality assured company, having ISO9001:2008 accreditation; additionally, we are committed to reducing any potential negative environmental impacts arising from our works and have recently attained ISO14001:2004 accreditation.

Such is our commitment to environmental issues, we have initiated a BREEAM training programme for our professional staff.

We have an excellent Health & Safety record, employing independent safety consultants (The Health and Safety People www.healthandsafetypeople.com) to keep us up-to-date on all H&S developments, to ensure Bolt & Heeks sites are safe sites, and that our site operatives have the requisite training.

Furthermore, we are currently working towards OHSAS 18001 accreditation, seeing the benefit of attaining a standard that integrates Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Environmental Management.
